Soccer Shots lays the foundation for a positive and healthy lifestyle, fostering gross motor development and coordination.

Local Recreational Soccer - Under 8

Ages 6-7

Friday and Saturday Matches

Our U8 program is specially designed for children aged 6-7, adding a team dynamic to their soccer experience. Through twice-weekly practices and weekly games, kids develop their skills in a more traditional style. The games, played 4v4 without goalkeepers, focus on teamwork and collaboration rather than win/loss records. We prioritize quality play and provide a supportive environment for your child's soccer journey.

Local Recreational Soccer - Under 10

Ages 8-9

Friday and Saturday Matches

The U10 program, in partnership with Greencastle United Soccer Club (GUSC), offers an exciting soccer experience for children aged 8-9. Along with expanding field sizes and 7v7 games with referees, this program introduces slight travel to Greencastle for "Away" matches. It's an excellent opportunity for young players to experience the thrill of playing in different locations while honing their skills in a competitive yet supportive environment. Join us for an enriching soccer journey that prepares your child for the excitement of both home and away matches.

Traveling Recreational Soccer

Ages 8-18

Saturday Matches

TYSC is a member of the United Recreational Soccer League. This league is based out of Frederick, Maryland and hosts multi-division school-grade (verses the traditional calendar-based) options. The league also offers smaller size options for the older ages not found in other leages (7v7 & 11v11 7th-High School) The URSL season sees an 8 game season (primarily Saturday matches) and also has the option of a post-season tournament. Home games for teams playing under URSL will be at Montgomery Township Park.

Competitive Travel Soccer

Ages 8-18

Saturday and Sunday Matches

Our age groups from 8-18 have the option of playing in the Central Penn Youth Soccer League (CPYSL), providing young players with skill development and competitive opportunities. This league follows guidelines set by the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) and sees an 8 game season in the Fall, 7 games in the Spring. Teams are places on a fair competition scale, ensuring balanced matches for all. Home games played under CPYSL are played at Edenville Community Center or James Buchanan High School.

So who are we?

The Tuscarora Youth Soccer Club (TYSC) is a competitive travel soccer club serving locations in and around the Tuscarora School District,Franklin County, PA and the Tuscarora Mountain including, but not limited to, Mercersburg, Greencastle, Chambersburg, Waynesboro, Fort Loudon, Saint Thomas, and McConnellsburg. At TYSC, we promote participation in the game of soccer while teaching the principles of soccer excellence, sportsmanship, athletic skills, team spirit, character and social interaction. The ideals of enjoyment, fair play, safety, integrity and honesty will be emphasized and will be an integral part of soccer play organized by TYSC and by members participating on TYSC teams. We provide age and ability appropriate competition as well as soccer educational opportunities to enable every member of TYSC to achieve their personal goals in their selected recreation.
